Concept Entertainment has a strong commitment to philanthropy and immerses itself into the local community. Working with a wide range of organizations, Concept Entertainment has raised thousands of dollars for St. Baldrick’s, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Dove Lewis, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and more.
Since 2012 theThirsty Lion has raised over $125,000 for the St. Baldrick’s foundation in the fight against children’s cancer. The event takes place yearly over St. Patrick’s Day weekend where hundreds of people pledge to raise money and shave their heads at the Thirsty Lion locations.
Grand Central has also worked with a number of charities including the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) where their annual Lock Up was hosted and raised over $20,000 in the fight against neuromuscular diseases. Grand Central strongly supports local schools and organizations with the Bowl for a Goal program where bowling lanes are donated and 100% of the proceeds from bowling sales are donated to the charity. Each location within Concept Entertainment takes part in its local community and builds a philanthropic foundation for the company as a whole.
